This essential oil is extracted from the berry only, not the needles or wood. The berry produces a more superior oil with a rich, full scent and stronger chemical properties. While its uses date back to ancient Egypt, Tibet, Sumeria and Babylonia, it remains relevant in modern texts, including the British Herbal Pharmacopoeia. An overall invigorating tonic that detoxifies and brings life-giving energy to all body parts. Assuages the ravages of overindulgence.

Aroma: Middle Note

Perfume: Fresh, clear but slightly woody, with turpentine top notes and smoky, balsamic undertones.

Blends well with: cedarwood, cypress, geranium, grapefruit, lavender, bergamot, lime, vetivert, clary-sage and lemongrass.

Indications: Antiseptic, anti-rheumatic, antispasmodic, astringent, carminative, depurative, diuretic, rubefacient, stimulating, stomachic, sudorific, vulnerary and tonic.
