Mujun Suribachi Pestle & Mortar Large - Black

This kitchen essential from Mujun is perfect for grinding and mashing ingredients. The jagged interior surface allows for an effortless grind while still allowing the ingredients to retain texture. The wide bowl has a non-slip silicone rubber ring for stability while grinding. The steep walls ensure the ingredients do not spread out allowing for a more precise grind. Great for guacamole, mashed sweet potatoes or mixing spices.

Mujun consists of a team of young Japanese designers who are passionate about sharing Japanese craftsmanship with a contemporary global audience. Working closely with skilled craftsmen in Japan they keep traditions alive by redesigning objects for modern living.
