Tangerine Essential Oil 15mL

One of the more widely used essential oils due to its gentle nature and suitability for blends designed for babies, children and pregnancy. Although the tangerine fruit and essential oil is clearly different to the mandarin, the two trees do share the same botanical name so can create some confusion. Tangerine carries a sweeter scent to mandarin and is lighter than orange with more candy-like tones. Soothes the gut, reduces gas. A tonic to energise pale, lack-lustre skin. Natural cleanser of the body – clears excess congestion. Wonderful in desserts and drinks.

Aroma: Top to Middle Note.

Perfume: Typically citrus: fresh, radiant and tangy sweet, only with no dryness.

Blends well with: other citrus oils: lime, lemon, orange, grapefruit; chamomile, clary-sage, frankincense, lavender, rose; spice oils nutmeg, cinnamon, clove.

Indications: Antiseptic, antispasmodic, cytophylactic, (encourages cell growth) anti- coagulant, sedative, stomachic, tonic, digestive aid, circulatory enhancer, detoxifying, laxative and sedative.
